This new Barbie doll with hearing aids is part of toy manufacturer Mattel's drive to make the dolls more inclusive.

这款戴助听器的新芭比娃娃是玩具制造商美泰公司推动其产品更具包容性计划的一部分。

British actor Rose Ayling-Ellis, who has been deaf since birth, helped create the new addition to this famous toy.

英国演员罗丝·艾灵·艾利斯从出生起就失聪，她帮助创造了这个著名玩具系列的新成员。

"Barbie used to be my favourite toy ever. And I actually drew a hearing aid onto my doll. So now we got a doll that has a hearing aid."

Eliza has severe hearing loss and wears two hearing aids.

"Wait a minute. So iconic as Barbie are going… not only using dolls with hearing aids [but also with] wheelchairs. It's fantastic. It gives hope to families like ourselves that our children are going to be included into the world."

Hearing aids and wheelchair aside, the new series also includes Ken with vitiligo and Barbie with a prosthetic limb.

除了戴助听器和坐轮椅的芭比娃娃外，新款系列中还包括了患白癜风、名为肯恩的娃娃和装人工义肢的芭比娃娃。

Mattel says it wants to ensure children from different backgrounds feel represented.
